Enmeshed Short Film. Some of the shots and scenes will forever be some of my all time favourites. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to work on this film with such an incredible crew. Every single person on the team was on it every single day, we finished early every time, and had not a single issue. Can’t thank everyone enough. Thank you so much to @corban.bruce for being my best mate and such an amazing director, this story and your work is so incredible and deserves every achievement coming its way. Shakira, Kayden and Rob, your acting performance and nature was some of the best I’ve ever seen, you’re both going to go so far! @shakiraforstpointnerofficial @_jodiprice Special shout out to my camera, grip and gaff, team for the shoot… @joshwick.ens , @mann_y6 , @caitlin_yu_galloway , @sondre_vestheim for doing a great job on the lighting/gripping and being on top of the lighting plans the entire time, whenever I asked for a light or a change you’d have it ready instantly, the level of professionalism is incredible. Also thank you to @bennyboozled and @mann_y6 for being a B Camera operator, you both did an amazing job and can’t thank you enough. Thank you to @leia._.boop & @tyler_jr_maple for doing such an incredible job as producers, you both did a stellar job and it wouldn’t have gone so smoothly without you. Thank you to @caitlin_yu_galloway for being so on top of the production design for this set, it wouldn’t have looked as good as it did without it. Thank you to @julia_fallon_ for being on top of continuity, especially for the car rigging scenes when I couldn’t see the screen too well as I was driving, it helps me a lot when I’m focusing on other things. Thank you to @paddyshacks for being an amazing safety officer and keeping the entire team safe during the car rigging scenes. You were such a legend on set! Thank you to @gavinevans578 for the action vehicles also, they were so accurate and stunning in every shot! Of course thank you to the entire crew, all of the stills photographers (basically everyone on set 😉) and the entire cast for such an incredible performance! Out of Space Short Film - A peek into the Cinematography! I’ll be posting more on this once the film has gone through the festival stages, but here is some of the shots and the plans for them that I love! Also a massive thanks to the whole crew for their incredible work!! For my first DOP role I am very happy with how it turned out, two shots I’m particularly proud of are the following: The Car Shot, as seen in this post. Before the set we had no plan for the car as it was a latter decision, so the lighting I had to wing on the spot, but I’m very happy with how it turned out. That is one of the reasons why it’s one of my favourites. Secondly was one of the early shots in the film where the camera crosses all 5 characters around the table for an almost 320 degree shot from start to finish! Hiding all lighting, set design, and equipment, which was a challenge. But also crossing the table whilst switching hands with my fellow camera assistant @corban.bruce . Whilst also keeping it in focus with barrel focus, and all hand held!
